2003年度 日米交歓ディベート 日本ツアー結果報告 [臼井　直人]
2003年6月13日から7月1日まで、日米交歓ディベート日本ツアーが開催されました。今回はディベーターとしてJames Madison Universityのミシェル・ランカスター(Michelle Lancaster)さんと、Samford Universityのジェームズ・ラドフォードJr.(James Radford Jr.)さん、コーチとしてHofstra University準教授のマット・ソブノスキー(Matt Sobnosky)先生（6月13日から21日まで）とFlorida State Universityのマリリン・ヤング(Marilyn Young)先生を（6月22日から7月1日まで）お迎えして、全国で12のイベントを行いました。 イベントでは日本人ディベーターとのディベートの交流試合やコーチによる講演、またはディベート大会の審査をしていただきました。各イベントの主な内容は以下の通りでした。 各イベントとも大変盛況で、ディベートの試合の後も活発に質疑などが行われた様です。またイベントの後の会食でもなごやかな雰囲気で全米代表チームとの交流が行われました。改めまして各ホストの皆様のご尽力に感謝いたします。この交歓ディベートツアーが、各地のディベート関係者の皆様にとりまして生き深いものであったことを願ってやみません。
